The Ursuline’s Museum of Quebec is pleased to invite the public for the first time, to discover the Garden of the Ursuline’s Monastery of Quebec City, a well hidden secret in the heart of Old Quebec.

The tour start in the Museum, by the exhibition Recollections of a House, which uses models, to situate the fifteen buildings that comprise the monastic complex considered one of the finest examples of convent architecture in North America.
Once outside, visitors will be invited to cross the gates, enter the courtyard of the Monastery and the Ursuline’s Garden. During this special tour, visitors will be encouraged to discover not only one of best preserved monastery of Quebec City but also to understand the building’s history and layout.
These visits will take place throughout the summer, twice a day at 11:00 and 16:00, from 1 July to 28 August 2012.
